I’m Ovie Paul-Ejukorlem, a second-generation artist, animation producer, and creative venture builder exploring what African creativity can become.

I grew up in a home where art was part of everyday life. My father, Paul Ejukorlem, is a multidisciplinary Nigerian artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, relief and mixed media. Growing up around his practice shaped how I see creativity: not simply as something we make, but as a way of understanding our world, preserving our stories and imagining new possibilities. Over time, my interests have expanded across design, technology, business and storytelling. Today, I bring these experiences together through a creative practice that moves between making things, building ventures and exploring ideas.

I’m currently focused on animation as a medium for bringing African stories to life. Through Fro Animation, I’m working to develop original stories and build the creative capacity to bring more African stories to the big screens. Beyond animation, I’m interested in the many ways creativity finds expression, from music, visual art and culture to business, strategy, innovation and new forms of storytelling.

I’m also interested in the systems that help creative work thrive: how ideas become sustainable ventures, how industries grow, and how we create more opportunities for African creatives to make meaningful work.

This website brings together some of the projects I’ve contributed to, the ideas I’m exploring, and the things I’m learning along the way. It’s a record of an evolving creative practice, one that leaves room for experimentation,  collaborations and optimism for the future.
